First off, we need to hold on to our big players and we are in danger of losing them. In my opinion, selling Carroll is a bad move, he is a true striker who has shown massive improvement lately and could emerge this season as a huge player for the club. Agger and Skrtel look like they may leave, though I really hope they do not. Next, I do not think the addition of Joe Allen is necessary. We have a deep midfield already. We need to strengthen up front, Dempsey would be welcome and another striker is needed if Carroll is sold. We have plenty of options on the wings. A defender could be important as well, however not totally necessary, either a fullback or centre back would really solidify us at the back. Also, I am a big fan of Aquilani, I don't think he's received the respect he deserves from our club, he fits the outside centre mid role in a 4-3-3 perfectly and is a very creative and skillful player, I would really like to see him remain at the club.
Very happy with how things are shaping up otherwise. Looking forward to a fantastic year - 4th place, good strong runs in the cup competitions, maybe some Europa glory with a bit of luck :)
